The SuperCompacts feature the unique patent-protected "HomeShield" defrost system.

In cold weather, a ventilation system needs a defrost system to prevent ice build-up on the recovery module. Flair's HomeShield' defrost feature does the job without creating a drop in indoor air pressure. This is vital for both health and safety since negative pressure inside the house could draw fumes from the chimney or spillage from the furnace into the house.
